Fresh Cannabis Santal and More: Scent of a Man
In the New York Times article, Scent of A Man, Chandler Burr picks four of his favourite new releases: Fico di Amalfi by Acqua di Parma (bergamot, tangerine, lemon, grapefruit, cedar, fig nectar, pink pepper, jasmine, fig wood, musk and cedar), Everlast fragrance (fresh citrus and leather), Fresh Cannabis Santal (bergamot, Brazilian orange, black plum; patchouli, rose, cannabis accord, chocolate, vetiver and vanilla musk), Hermès Terre d'Hermès (orange, grapefruit, mineral note, pepper, bay rose, geranium, patchouli, benzoin, vetiver and Atlas cedar).

Interesting choices. I tried Cannabis Santal, but I was disappointed. It smelled just like Angel!

Admittedly, I also found it a bit Angel-like, although it did not have the cotton-candy/maltol side of Angel.

I can't imagine anyone wanting to smell like marijuana. To me it is one of the nastiest smells this side of unwashed socks. Then again, if it reminds you ladies of Angel, this tells me something as well. My mother always told me that weed smelled "sickly sweet," thus proving to me that she had never smelled it in her life, LOL!

F, Cannabis Santal does not smell of marijuana at all. It is just sweet, reminiscent of Angel. Well, I cannot stand the smell of pot. As for your quips about Angel, for the sake of our friendship, I shall let it slide. J/K :)
