I wish everyone wonderful holidays! May the weekend be happy in all respects. I celebrate Christmas on January 7th, however one cannot pass up an opportunity to have a holiday, therefore I shall be hosting a dinner party and enjoying time with friends and family. What do winter holidays smell like? Please come back on Monday to read an article on the scents evoking this time of year.
Fragrance today: Lalique Le Parfum. Its luxurious sweetness touched by the warm bite of pepper is a perfect choice for this cold and snowy day.
And, Merry Christmas to you, too, darling.
The holidays smell like cloves and oranges, with hot apple cider mixed in with pine cones.
Hugs!

Happy holidays and a merry christmas to you,my dear, and to all of the people writing on this blog.
For tonight, because it is a celebration of love and family,i will wear l'Heure bleue by Guerlain in extrait and spray it in edp in my clothes.
It is such a wonderful perfume, a perfume of joy, sweetness, caring and love for me.
So the choice was easy to make.
What will everyone of you wear tonight?
Thanks for the sharing times.
Have a good weekend.
Kisses and "even thought it has been said, many times, many ways, merry christmas to you".
;)
Tenderly,
Julien.

Merry Christmas. Feminite du Bois for today. I think Ormonde tomorrow.

R, that is a terrific holiday smell! I have encountered it only recently (Orthodox Christmas smells differently), but I love it now.
Merry Christmas!

With the tiny chill in the air, and to accompany a rich seafood feast and fir balsam absolute (diluted) atomized into the air, I will wear the lovely Mitsouko parfum sample someone so generously sent me ;-) Perhaps this will begin a new Hanukkamas tradition with me, so I will take the new scent wearing into tomorrow, for latkes and lobster tail and champagne, by dabbing on some Tubereuse Criminalle for the rich sensual dichotomy of it all, lighting the Menorah and the Christmas lights, LOL. Have a wonderful holiday, all, and a peaceful and relaxing week during this wonderful time of year.

Anya, sounds like a great tradition, or rather the beginnings thereof! Enjoy your feast and your fragrances. I hope that you will have a wonderful holiday season!

Have a beautiful weekend. Please spare me some good thoughts as I attempt to cook a goose. ((V)) Words fail us for those who mean the most! May your holidays be joyous, as your friendship brings me such joy.

F, I know what you mean. Thank you for everything. Happy holidays to you and I hope that your goose will turn out well. Did you stuff it with apples? I highly recommend that.

L, happy holidays to you too! Thank you for such kind words. I am glad that you are enjoying my writing.

Hi, dear V. Started the day with Nuit de Noël and pulled out the black fox fur to match it... Tonight I got offered the box of samples we saw when we went to The Different Company shop. Now I have Jasmin de Nuit on one wrist, Rose Poivrée on the other. Both are delightful. Although I'll have to wait until my nose is less crowded with the scents of the Christmas tree, a log fire, good sweet red wine, foie gras and cèpes to properly assess my gifts! Joyeux Noël from Paris...

Joyeux Noël from me too!

Dear Denyse, your sartorial choice suits Nuit de Noël perfectly! Moreover, I am glad that you managed to obtain TDC samples. Enjoy these fragrances. Your Christmas olfactory impressions sound wonderful, and I dare say they might be even more exciting than either Jasmin de Nuit or Rose Poivrée.
