Yay! I, for one, am very glad to hear this. I love the stuff, and have been carefully hoarding my decant:) Now, perhaps, I can spritz more freely!

V, this is good news for a ton of people. Although I have to admit, I prefer their No.88 and their Frankincense and Myrrh to the Dark Rose. Still, the Dark Rose works nicely I think. I do hope they reclassify it as a unisex scent though - filing it as a female-specific scent unnecessarily scares off men from wearing it, and I think that's a shame.

Katie, I agree. Dark Rose would be a perfect rose for a man. It is not particularly sweet and feminine in a conventional way.

Fragrance Review: Space NK Melodrama Melodrama was created by the perfumer Christopher Sheldrake (the nose behind Serge Lutens fragrances) for Space.NK, a perfumery in Covent Garden, London. It is a fragrance that pays homage to the 1920s, although its composition is closer to the aldehydic floral chypre like Millot Crêpe de Chine (1925), Weil Zibeline (1928) and Hermès Calèche (1961), than to the aldehydic floral like Chanel No.5 (1921).
