With the new features being available from typepad, I spent the last couple of weeks doing some much needed updates and clean ups. Also, I am offering a few new subscription options for you to follow the updates on Bois de Jasmin. The most novel one for me is the Twitter, which turned out to be a lot fun. Besides giving updates about new articles on Bois de Jasmin, I share about my studies in perfumery and daily scent discoveries.
I already follow you on Twitter! Loved that bitter almond and white peach note tweet. :) I never noticed it before but I just bought some white peaches and they actually taste a bit like almond, especially closer to the seeds.

Sveta, yes, the seeds contain the same compound as bitter almonds. I noticed the connection only recently, because until now I have not had a decent source of white peaches around here. :)

I've been enjoying reading about your scent discoveries on twitter, too.
Also, I just passed on a 'Kreativ Blogger Award' to you. I enjoy reading your blog with the perfume descriptions and the weaving in of scent with food, so really had to pass one to you..:)

I have a vintage Russian perfume bottle (made in USSR), boxed, it is a square bottle with playing cards etched on each face, 7 diamonds, ace of hearts, three of clubs and Queen of spades, with a heart shaped stopper.. does anyone know what this may be?
