Giveaway: Jo Malone English Pear & Freesia Cologne, 1.0 oz. bottle. It is full, other than 5ml I decanted out for reviewing purposes.
How it works: Please leave a comment answering a question "What fragrance would you have liked to receive as a holiday gift?" Each participant will be assigned a number, and the winner will be selected via a random number generator. Draw is closed, thank you to everyone for participating and I hope that all of your perfume dreams will come true. I will announce the winner this week.
Giveaway explanation: anybody from the US or overseas can enter it as long as you answer specific questions explained in the contest rules. My policy is not to retain any full bottles from the manufacturers or PR firms. If a winner does not respond within a week, I reserve a right to randomly pick a runner up.
Happy Thanksgiving to Everyone!
Oh I know this from the top of my head (and I'm secretly hoping somebody gifts it to me) - Shalimar Ode a la Vanille. :)
We don't celebrate Thanksgiving here but happy Thanksgiving to you and your readers who do. :)

Ines, thank you! Ever since I've come to the US, it has become one of my favorite holidays. It is very family oriented here, and the food tends to be great. :)

Posted by: Victoria | November 24, 2010 at 09:51
Mark, I'll see what I can do about that! Maybe, you should just inadvertently leave your computer open for your gift giver to see. That has worked for me in the past, although I am usually not that subtle. :)
Posted by: Victoria | November 24, 2010 at 09:53
Kathy, Traversee du Bosphore is a fragrance I want for holidays.

I've just enjoyed reading the perfumes on everyone's "want" list!
As for mine, I'd love any of: Dulcess by Costamor (because it makes me think of summer, and we've got a winter storm en route), Tabacca by Costamor (because it reminds me of the N. Carolina tobacco towns I once lived in), or any of the Montale florals... because I'll never be able to afford them in my lifetime. And they SMELL so expensive. :)
Thanks for the fun contest.

Hi there,
I would love a bottle of Cinema by Yves Saint Laurent as a gift before going on a holiday because this is what my husband got me on our way to New Zealand four years ago and this is the fragrance that I wore during our 4 weeks traveling through this amazing country!
I have not bought another bottle since, but every time I take a sniff from it in the shops, I get right back in NZ.
Loving that!

What I want seems to vary from day to day, but I've been hankering for some Frederic Malle, especially that Geranium pour Monsieur one. Partly it's just that they claim that geranium oil is invigorating, and I'm feeling out of sorts today. Invigorating would be good!
But I wouldn't complain if I got some Chergui, or Fille en Aiguilles, or even a replacement bottle of good-old Habit Rouge.

I wore it today during the humid Spring rains we have here in Australia and it bloomed beautifully on the skin. So that would be my holiday gift wish.
